Our Story
Link'n Lights was born from a simple moment of joy and…frustration.
Years ago, our founder Lacey was in her yard, trying to wrap lights around a tree. She wanted to branch off onto one limb, but the strand wouldn’t allow it. No flexibility. No easy fix. Just tangled wires and wasted time.
Later, while waiting for a flight, she sketched an idea on a napkin…
What if you could twist out a bulb, plug in a new strand, and keep building in any direction you wanted?
She shared the idea with Matt, who immediately saw the potential. But there was one problem.
They weren’t engineers.
That’s when Bobby, their neighbor and resident electrical expert, stepped in. He loved the concept and joined the mission. Together, they transformed a simple sketch into a working prototype, and eventually into Link'n Lights.
Today, what started as a napkin drawing is lighting up homes, patios, and celebrations everywhere.
We build lights that are easy to install, simple to store, and endlessly customizable so decorating feels joyful, not stressful.
Because great moments deserve great lighting.
A simple belief led us to create a better way to do string lights…

For years, decorating meant tangled wires, awkward extensions, cutting, splicing, and lots of “why is this so hard?” moments.
We thought… What if it didn’t have to be that way?
And voila! Link’n Lights was born right there.
A modular, plug-and-play string lighting system that lets you unscrew a bulb, connect a new line, and head in a whole new direction. No tools. No cutting. No electrician.
Designed to move with your imagination.

Want to wrap a tree, run lights across a fence, zig-zag a ceiling, or create a creative corner glow? Go for it. Change your mind? Easy. Your layout isn’t locked in and neither is your creativity.
From everyday moments to big celebrations, Link’n Lights fits right in. Holidays, weddings, outdoor patios, dorm rooms, dance studios, restaurants, backyards, storefronts, and everything in between.
Joy should last, which is why our lights are made to be durable, weather-resistant, and energy-efficient. They’re built for real life, real spaces, and real seasons.
